In this podcast, I talk for 43 minutes about my dad. What he came from, what he accomplished, and what he did not just to put me on this planet and give me life, but to give me the best possible life
It’s hard to describe that inner noise one hears when a parent’s death (or imminent death) occurs. It’s a sound I had never heard before and it emanated from a place that had never before made itself heard). My dad passed in 1996 and it left a hole in my heart. He was far from perfect but he was my dad. My mom (the emotional strength of our family) outlived him by 21 years , passing in late 2017. She was spared, at 92 years of age, from having to bear witness to the tragic decline of a once proud (and blessed) nation’s descent into political madness. Blessings to you and your family, Leif. Your dad sounds very special indeed.
